Welcome Lorenzo!

Inspired by a trip to Cozumel, Mexico in 1985, Lorenzo the Iguana that Walked on Water is now a book! As a lover of all animals, I especially loved lizards as a child. I spent my summer days chasing down the green anole lizards that looked so much like tiny alligators. My friends ran from me as I dangled the green lizards from my fingers and my earlobes! When visiting Cozumel, I was intrigued and delighted to see so many iguanas freely sunning themselves along brick walls around the island. And then I was stunned and amused to watch a large iguana run across the swimming pool while being chased by a hotel porter! It was truly a blessing to have witnessed such an encounter.
