An avid reader and a lover of books, Denise started writing as a young child.  She wrote her first short story at the age of 10.  As a teen she began writing poetry.   For different events, she shared her poetry with friends and family.  After raising her two children and then retiring from corporate America, she began to write the stories that she carried with her throughout her life.

 

A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Denise spent most of her life in da bayou country!  She now resides in the Mojave Desert somewhere in the state of Nevada.

 

Denise holds a B.S. in Earth Sciences from Louisiana State University.
